Engaging in our Success Strategy and Jumpstart workshops can help you succeed at Clemson. Facilitated by ASC staff, workshops provide an interactive experience that can help you sharpen your learning and thinking skills, increase your confidence and enhance your knowledge of success strategies and resources.

For All Students: Success Strategy Workshops

Success Strategy workshops focus on strategies you can use to enhance your learning and thinking skills. Our workshops cover a variety of topics, including:

  • Time Management and Organizational Skills
  • Final Exams Preparation
  • Life Skills
  • Study Strategies
  • Test-taking Strategies
  • Academic Resources

Workshops generally last 30 - 45 minutes and are offered throughout the year. No matter your grades, you can learn something new at every workshop to help you achieve and maintain success.

For New Students: Jumpstart Workshops (August Only)

Jumpstart workshops are presented annually on the Tuesday before the first day of classes. They are designed to help new students learn how to excel in college courses and develop the skills and mindset to succeed at Clemson. Workshops include:

  • Succeeding in math, science and foreign language courses
  • Building your writing skills.
  • Developing college success skills
  • Conducting research
