Chapman Leadership Scholars Program Description
Program Information
Year One: Students will receive $1,000 and focus on developing intellect and defining leadership capabilities.
Year Two: Scholars will receive $2,000 and learn about courage - the ethics, behavior and styles of leaders.
Year Three: Students will receive $3,000 and focus on the heart by leading efforts to serve others in their communities.
As part of the program, participants will be engaged in various activities such as service learning and Creative Inquiry projects specifically for Chapman Leadership Scholars.
Selection Process
Those interested in becoming Chapman Leadership Scholars must be freshmen at Clemson University and complete an application. Applications are currently closed.
A review panel will evaluate the applications to identify students who show an aptitude for leadership and a drive to be successful. Those selected will be reviewed at the end of each semester to ensure they have completed all of their Chapman Leadership Scholars assignments. Those who do will continue to receive the scholarship money each semester.
Program Size
Each year, 14 students will be selected to participate in the Chapman Leadership Scholars Program.
