Individual Career Coaching
Contact the Office of MBA Career Services for a one-on-one meeting. We look forward to helping you establish a personal career plan. The Office of MBA Career Services also coordinates with recruiters and potential employers, providing information on recruiting MBA students for internships and full- or part-time jobs.
MBA 8800 Seminar: Managing Your Career
MBA 880 is required for all MBA students as a foundation for career development and addresses the following:
- Assessing your skills, interests and abilities
- Creating an accomplishment-based résumé
- Developing a personal marketing plan
- Gaining skills for successful interviewing
- Learning how to market yourself effectively
- Evaluating and negotiating the job offer
Annual Breakfast with the Dean and Networking Forum
This February event brings select organizations to the Clemson MBA program at Greenville ONE to meet our MBA talent. Employers are invited to interview our students in private, one-on-one meetings. Each year, key employers come to the event seeking interns and MBA talent for projects and/or employment.
Employer Spotlights
Throughout the year, employers contact the Clemson MBA program seeking face time with our students. Each of these sessions is announced to the students via email from MBA Career Services.
Job Search Workteam
Each spring, graduating students are invited to join the Job Search Workteam, an accountability and networking group designed to encourage students and help them accomplish their job search goals. The Job Search Work Team is led by MBA Career Services.
Michelin Career Center
The Michelin Career Center, part of the Clemson Center for Career and Professional Development, is one of the top-ranked career centers in the country, according to The Princeton Review. Resources (both online and in-person) are plentiful and are available to all students with access to the Clemson University network.

Career Shift
CareerShift offers the most comprehensive online resource, designed to support the #1 request of job seekers: an easy-to-use website to conduct and organize their job search. Free access to CareerShift is provided by the Michelin Career Center.
