Mock Interviews
What is a mock interview?
A mock interview is a practice session designed to simulate an actual job interview. It offers you a valuable opportunity to experience the interview process, receive feedback on your performance and enhance your interview skills.Why do it?
- Practice: Gain experience in answering common interview questions and presenting yourself professionally.
- Feedback: Obtain constructive feedback on your answers, body language and overall presentation.
- Confidence: Build confidence and reduce anxiety about actual interviews.
Resources for completing a mock interview:
- Business JobLink: This platform is similar to ClemsonJobLink but caters explicitly to Powers College of Business students. To utilize the Virtual Mock Interview system, click the 'Mock Interviews' tile once logged in.
- ClemsonJobLink: Log into ClemsonJobLink, click the 'Mock Interviews' tile and complete the video interviews.
Virtual mock one-way interview through SparkHire: Email the Office of Career Engagement to request the SparkHire link. You will receive a copy to view once you have completed the mock interview. In addition, you can request to meet with OCE staff to go over your SparkHire interview and receive valuable feedback and tips.
