Frequently Asked Questions
-
What is the typical turnaround time for graphic design projects?
This depends on many factors, including the type of project, time of year, the current workload of our office, and other competing College priorities. In general, a design project can be turned around in about a week, although multi-page projects may take considerably longer.
It's essential to communicate your project timeline and expectations clearly with our team to ensure that we can accommodate your schedule. Factors such as the number of revisions needed and the clarity of the project brief can also influence the turnaround time. Collaborating closely with the designer and providing timely feedback can contribute to a more efficient and successful project completion.

My program or event needs a one-pager. Should I create one myself?
Almost all undergraduate and graduate programs have existing one-pagers, postcards or brochures. If you need copies of a particular program's materials, please contact the CAAC office of Student Services. If a new one pager or edits are required, the staff in these positions will loop in our office to create or update them.
For internal-facing events, our office can supply you with wordmarks, recommended fonts and advise on design for flyers or graphics created by faculty, staff and students. For external-facing events, please fill out the Events Request Form, and the CAAC Events Planner will alert our team to begin the marketing process.

How is the CAAC website maintained and updated
The CAAC websites are maintained and updated by our web manager, Eduardo Nieves along with Communications Coordinator Bea Bates and Public Information Director John Eby.
For optimal efficiency, we request that edits be submitted in a well-organized Word document. Generally, we aim to address web edits within a few days, but the timeline may extend beyond that, considering the need for thorough and accurate implementation. If you have specific deadlines or urgent updates, please communicate them, and we'll do our best to accommodate your timeline.
We perform regular content updates to keep our website current. This involves updating information, adding new content, and removing outdated or irrelevant material. Should you identify any outdated information on the site, we encourage you to reach out to Eduardo at envs@clemson.edu.
