The proposed commercial area, the Camp Carson Commons, uses existing structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps and the United States Forest Service. This design reactivates and revitalizes the space, providing a source of revenue for the Wind River Trust. The two courtyards act as a place for both locals and visitors to gather, socialize and experience the Wind River site.
