Yangzhou Health District blends the rich legacy of Chinese gardens, medicinal plants and holistic living into the future of urban design to create a new 800-acre health campus in Yangzhou, China. Incorporating strategies for environmental health, community health, personal health and city health, this district emphasizes connected residential communities, walkable mixed use, research and development, an education campus and a hospital campus, all connected by a spine of public green space. Designed in the World Design Studio program, this project is influenced by collaboration with students from China, Egypt and South Carolina.
