Choir
CU Singers

Clemson University Singers is a mixed-voice ensemble of selected auditioned students across all academic majors. CU Singers performs literature from all stylistic genres while focusing on a cappella selections highlighting its refined blend, rhythmic intensity, and musical maturity. Each year, the choir performs several concerts in the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts and gives several off-campus concerts each semester.
Cantorei

Clemson Cantorei is an auditioned mixed-voice chamber ensemble consisting of 24 singers from any major. Cantorei provides an enriching chamber music experience to students at Clemson University. Singers can look forward to performing early music, contemporary choral works, and new modern music commissioned for the ensemble.
Rehearsals are Monday and Wednesday from 2:30 until 3:45 p.m. in Room 117 of the Brooks Center. To enroll, register for MUSC 3450 (Chamber Choir).
Men's Choir
Director: Luke Browder | Class: MUSC 3720 | No audition required
Men's Choir is a non-auditioned, all-male ensemble. Begun in 1896, Men's Choir is the oldest musical organization at Clemson University. This choir performs a wide variety of traditional choral literature representing multiple genres, style periods, and nationalities. No audition is required and students from all majors are encouraged to join.
To participate, register for the course MUSC 3720 and attend the first rehearsal on the first Thursday of each semester at 12:30 p.m.
Women's Choir
Director: Luke Browder | Class: MUSC 3710 | No audition required
Women’s Choir is a non-auditioned all-female ensemble from any major. The Clemson University Women’s Choir consists of about 45 undergraduate students. The ladies represent almost every major Clemson University offers, but are united by a passion for vocal music. Women’s Choir meets twice a week, learning a multitude of pieces from varying genres of choral literature.
To participate, register for the course MUSC 3710 and attend the first rehearsal on the first Thursday of each semester at 2 p.m.
TakeNote
Director: David Conley | Class: MUSC 3420 | Audition required
TakeNote is Clemson University’s all-female pop a cappella ensemble. The group is comprised of 12-16 women selected from the larger Clemson choral ensembles by audition. While highlighting vocal percussion and soloists, TakeNote performs popular music ranging from the 1960s to contemporary songs.
TakeNote is a one-credit hour class (MUSC 3420) that meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-7:45 p.m. Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester.
Tigeroar

Tigeroar is Clemson University's only all-male a cappella ensemble. Founded in 1997 by Dr. Dan Rash and Dr. David Conley, the group has a long and proud tradition of musical excellence in Clemson, SC. Every spring and fall semester, Tigeroar brings popular songs to life with new and interesting covers using only their voices.
Tigeroar is a one-credit hour class (MUSC 3410) that meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-6:30 pm. Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester.
