Student Package Lockers

We are excited to provide Student package lockers at Clemson University. Student package lockers provide a convenient package retrieval system that is easy to use. As a student residing on campus, any *applicable package you receive will be placed in a package locker. You will receive an email instructing you to retrieve your package when it arrives.

Review this page for instructions on using student package lockers, and feel free to email us at studpo@clemson.edu or call us at 864-656-2351 with any questions or feedback you have about the student package locker experience.

* Packages that require refrigeration, are oversized or are clearly labeled as medication will not be placed in lockers.

Package Pickup Details

  • Package Delivery Types and Notifications
    • Your package will not be available for pickup immediately when you receive a notification from the carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.).
      • It will be available when you receive an email from donotreply@clemson.edu notifying you when you can pick up your package from the package lockers.
    • Not all packages are delivered to package lockers.
      • The size of packages and the number of packages being delivered to campus determine if packages are delivered to the lockers for pick up or handled via the package notification and pickup process at the Student Post Office.
      • Regardless of your pickup location, you will receive a notification email and instructions for picking up your package when it is ready.
    • Package lockers are not refrigerated, so you will pick up medicine, prescriptions and other packages requiring temperature control at the Student Post Office or Douthit Hills package locations.
  • Retrieving Your Package
    • Packages remain in lockers for 48 hours after you receive your notification to pick them up. If you do not pick up your package within 48 hours, it will be returned to the Student Post Office for processing and pick up at that location or the Douthit Hills package pick up location.
      • You will receive an email notification when the package is ready for pick up again.
    • You should not leave any packaging material in the locker after picking up your package.
    • If you have multiple package deliveries, review your notification email to see where each package is located. Though we have developed steps to streamline this process, it is still possible to have packages in different locations, especially if any of those items are oversized or perishable.
      • Oversized and perishable items are always checked in at the Student Post Office.
  • Using the Package Lockers
    • Tap the Paw Print on the kiosk touch screen to begin the package pickup process.
    • No signature is needed to retrieve your package. Please use one of four methods (PIN Code, QR code, TigerOne card or mobile device) to retrieve your package from the locker.
      • If using the PIN code or QR code, you will need to enter the code from each email you received. If releasing with your TigerOne card or mobile device, you will only need to authenticate once. Each door will open and allow you to confirm receipt of each package.
    • The Package locker door will open automatically when you select the locker on the “Collect Your Packages” screen. You must close the locker door after you retrieve your package. The locker number will display on the kiosk screen, and the number will be on the inside of the locker door for reference.
