Preregistration Advising

Preparing for Your Appointment

Preparing for your preregistration advising appointment is a crucial step in your academic journey. A well-prepared student can maximize the benefits of this valuable time with their advisor, ensuring they stay on track with their degree progress and academic goals. Preregistration advising typically begins in mid-September and mid-January. Currently enrolled General Engineering students will receive an email from their academic advisor at least 6 weeks prior to registration informing them to schedule an advising appointment. Students must have a preregistration appointment in order to register for courses.
