Impacting lives in South Carolina and beyond.

Welcome to the Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine

Elevating Lives

There has never been a better time to establish a college of veterinary medicine in South Carolina. The Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine at Clemson University will create new opportunities to improve South Carolina's economy, retain top talent and protect animal and human health while serving our communities.

We strive to empower students to become highly skilled veterinarians who can practice in underserved communities in South Carolina. Students will learn both small and large animal medicine, offering them a wide array of job opportunities once they graduate with their doctorate of veterinary medicine (DVM).

Thank you for following along with us on this journey.

Help Shape the Lives of Future Veterinarians

There has never been a better time to establish the Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine. A shortage of veterinarians has decreased access to healthcare for animals - both companion and farm animals. The college is not only necessary, but it is also a wise move for the state of South Carolina. Clemson University’s status as a land-grant institution supports a robust pre-veterinary program in the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences, complemented by comprehensive livestock and teaching farm resources. We know there is a need. We have established the solution. Now, we need your support.
