Horry County 4-H

This homeschool-based general club meets twice a month to learn STEM and work on service projects in the community. They have officers who lead the club and practice Roberts Rules of Order. They practice all year to compete in the SC 4-H Engineering Challenge. They meet the first and third Wednesdays from 1-4 pm, leaving the last hour for game/hang out time for the kids to work on team building skills. This general club meets once a month at the Green Sea Library to learn about a variety of topics. Their theme this year is “Back to Our Roots.” They have officers who lead the club and practice Roberts Rules of Order. They meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 4-5. This project club meets once a month at the Conway Library to learn the basics of horsemanship through a wide variety of topics. They meet on the 3rd Monday of each month from 3:30-5:30. They will occasionally meet at local horse barns and have opportunities for hands-on experience with horses. This club is open to any youth regardless of their experience with horses.
