Mansfield (Pete) Key III

Mansfield (Pete) Key III is a dynamic Growth Development Strategist and International Motivational Speaker whose life’s work exemplifies perseverance and collaboration. With certifications in grief counseling, 21st Century Leadership, and expertise in programs such as Relationship Smarts and Fatherhood Initiative, Pete’s impact spans across education, public health, and youth development. He has provided technical assistance to the Federal Government’s Health and Human Services and consulted with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, as well as the Departments of Education and Public Health across various states. His speaking engagements have taken him to global stages, including the Dream Development Center in South Africa and England’s Hope Organization, where his insights have ignited hope and transformation. A staunch advocate for personal and collective growth, Pete’s vision is rooted in helping others overcome challenges and discover their unique potential through purposeful action.

Pete’s passion for empowering others is exemplified in his groundbreaking Lunch With The Keys program, which has garnered prestigious awards like the 2019 CLAS Banner School designation for its transformative impact on students. His leadership extends beyond schools to community and professional organizations, earning him recognition as Humanitarian of the Year and Auburn University’s Hero Award. As the Character Coach for the University of North Alabama Athletics and the 2020 President of the Florence Rotary Club, Pete continues to champion collaboration and resilience. With three books and numerous multimedia resources, his strategies have inspired millions to unlock their best selves. Pete draws strength from his faith and family—his wife, Sharlene, and daughters, Erin Ruth and Joi Da’Nae—and believes that true success comes when we unite in purpose to uplift and empower one another.
