Allocation Methodology
The Revenue-based Budgeting (RBB) model for Clemson University supports effective and streamlined decision making through transparency in how revenues and expenses are allocated. RBB empowers leadership across the University to set a strategic direction based on the unique needs of their organization.
Aligning budget with accountability and responsibility, the allocation methodology in the RBB model promotes smart revenue growth and expense management. The model is designed to incentivize innovation across our University while maintaining a focus on our mission of teaching, research, and service in support of our strategic priorities.
The graphic below outlines the RBB allocation methodology at the budget center and college level. Leadership in Colleges and Support Units determine budget allocations at department levels.
