What is Health and Safety?
The use of established Clemson University protocols such as programs, processes, and trainings in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations. The goal is to reduce risk of injury and illness and promote a safe environment for all faculty, staff and students.
OES Health and Safety is composed of the Safety Programs and Industrial Hygiene programs.

What is Industrial Hygiene?
Industrial Hygiene is the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of health and safety hazards. This includes conducting chemical and physical hazard assessments, coordinating the Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Programs all Clemson University locations.
