Advising Support for Nationally-Competitive Fellowship Opportunities

What We Do

Clemson University’s Office of Major Fellowships was founded in 2018 to support students through the application process for nationally competitive scholarships, grants and fellowship opportunities.

Support is available at any stage of a student’s undergraduate or graduate degree program, including after they graduate.

Fellowship advisors are active members of the National Association of Fellowships Advisors, with a focus on the growth of the profession and the services it provides to students.

Mission

The mission of the Office of Major Fellowships is to cultivate a culture of access and equity, ensuring that all Clemson University students and alumni have the opportunity to pursue prestigious fellowships. We are dedicated to demystifying the major fellowships submission process and empowering individuals from all backgrounds to confidently navigate the application journey. To achieve these goals, we seek to support our students and alumni through personalized advising and resources tailored to the unique needs and goals of each individual.

Robyn Curtis

“Applying for major fellowships and awards can help you grow, both personally and professionally. We are here to help you identify opportunities, both on and off campus, that can make you more competitive for major fellowships or scholarships when you become eligible to apply. I encourage you to reach out early in your academic career, be open to exploring new possibilities, and to give yourself time to apply for the programs that interest you. ”
