Beinecke Scholarship

The Beinecke Scholarship Program supports graduate education for highly motivated students planning to enter a research- or creative-focused master’s or doctoral program in the arts, humanities, or social sciences. Each scholar receives $5,000 before entering graduate school and an additional $30,000 while attending. College Juniors (by semesters in school) are eligible to apply. Candidates must also show a documented history of qualifying for need-based financial aid during their undergraduate years to be eligible. Strong candidates will demonstrate superior standards of intellectual ability, scholastic achievement, and personal promise during their undergraduate career. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or nationals. Clemson may nominate one student each year, and interested students should notify the Office of Major Fellowships of their interest as soon as possible after the application opens.
