Harvard Public Policy Leadership Conference (PPLC)

The Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) Public Policy Leadership Conference (PPLC) gives applicants who might not otherwise have considered Harvard the chance to experience what it’s like to be a student at that prestigious university. The weekend-long conference in October seeks to inspire talented and driven undergraduate students to pursue study and leadership in public policy and careers in public service. Students will connect with current HKS students, faculty, and staff around pressing policy issues. Students will also learn more about attending graduate school in a competitive environment and funding for HKS studies. All costs associated with attending the PPLC are covered. Eligible applicants will have completed at least two semesters, have a GPA of 3.0 or above, and demonstrate a sustained commitment to public service through activism, student leadership, civic participation at school, in the community, or through volunteering. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents.
