Point Flagship Scholarship
The Point Flagship Scholarship is a program offered by the Point Foundation to create a more inclusive and equitable society for LGBTQ+ individuals pursuing higher education. The Flagship Scholarship provides financial support for LGBTQ+ undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students at accredited colleges in the US based on academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and financial need. Recipients also receive community resources, access to multiple leadership development programs, mentorship or coaching, and the support of a community of scholars and alumni. Applicants must identify as an “out” member of the LGBTQ+ community with demonstrated leadership or leadership potential. The award’s financial amount is based on need and is renewable up to four years. Strong applicants will demonstrate sustained leadership or leadership potential.
