Statistics and Mathematics Consulting
Through the Department of Mathematical Sciences, the Statistics and Mathematics Consulting Center serves researchers from Clemson University, commerce, industry and government by offering data analysis, statistical guidance and interpretation, problem solving, scientific computing, and mathematical modeling. SMCC provides an interdisciplinary environment for collaboration and consultation. The mission of SMCC is to improve the quality of scientific analysis in support of Clemson’s research efforts across a broad range of disciplines.
SMCC Services
The SMCC offers services for resolving statistical and mathematical software issues, research projects, and long-term collaborations for faculty, students, centers and institutes. Short-term assistance is free to Clemson University researchers. Additional arrangements may be necessary for larger and externally-funded projects. Walk-in service, reoccurring appointments and extended grant support are provided.

Connect with the SMCC
Before submitting a grant proposals, connect with the SMCC team. We can help with experimental design and partner with you for funding, but you must be in touch with us before you submit your grant proposals. If you have questions about the services available at the center, contact Erica Bagwell at 864-656-5201.
Project Request
To help us provide efficient service, please use the button, below, to submit a project request. We will usually be in touch within two days to put you in contact with a collaborator.
