Access and Belonging
We will create a community that encourages diversity of thought, embraces differences, commits to the pursuit of life-long learning, and removes barriers to access and success.
GOAL 1: SENSE OF BELONGING AND CULTURE OF CARE
Foster a culture of care and belonging for all students.
Objective 1
Align Student Affairs and its initiatives with the University’s access and belonging efforts.
Objective 2
Increase visibility and student engagement for the Division’s access and belonging activities and support services.
Objective 3
Increase promotion for the Division’s access and belonging initiatives and partnerships.
GOAL 2: ACCESS AND OPPORTUNITY
Provide students with equitable access and opportunities to engage in all aspects of campus life within the Division of Student Affairs and beyond.
Objective 1
Inventory and assess programs and activities with associated fees that may be barriers to participation.
Objective 2
Support development efforts to reduce financial barriers to increase student engagement.
Objective 3
Increase equitable access to facilities and services within the Division.
