Through the Bridge to Clemson program, you have access to all Tri-County academic success services and student life opportunities in addition to the campus life activities, amenities and organizations at Clemson.
To keep you informed about events happening at Clemson and Tri-County, we hold regular Bridge meetings at Tri-County throughout the academic year. Bridge to Clemson staff serves as the first team to support you in your journey to explore and enjoy varying groups, teams and events on both campuses!
Community Living
Living in Bridge Program housing provides access to all the University has to offer and allows you to be fully immersed in the Tiger community. On-campus students tend to have higher GPAs and graduation rates than their off-campus peers, so we provide apartment-style housing with peer-led events and resources for you in two locations on campus.

We want you to study hard and enjoy your life as a Bridge to Clemson student. There are tons of ways to unwind, destress and have fun at Tri-County and Clemson, so please spend some time exploring all our campuses have to offer in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
“I was a senator for Student Community Council my first year, so I would represent Lightsey Bridge at general meetings and plan events for our community. Then a big part of my student experience was serving as the sports editor for The Tiger, the student newspaper. I also photographed football and basketball games for TigerVision, played club lacrosse and interned at NBC Sports. I had so much fun and loved being involved all four years.”

Student Organizations
Campus Recreation
Enjoy full access to intramural sports, club sports, fitness classes, professional physical therapy and the many outdoor recreation activities available at Clemson. From rock climbing to kayaking and yoga, you can do it all in one day on our campus.
Health Services
Self care starts with health care, and we want you to know the following services at Redfern Health Center are covered for you through your Bridge Program Fee.

Major and Career Exploration
We encourage you to use the services of the career centers at Tri-County and Clemson. Clemson’s Center for Career and Professional Development is consistently ranked among the top career centers in the nation, according to The Princeton Review, and both centers offer programs and services for you to explore and identify a major or career to help achieve your professional goals.
Parking and Transit
You have dozens of transit options when traveling from Clemson’s campus to Tri-County and back each day. Transit and CATbus have dedicated routes based on the academic schedule. If you have a car and prefer to drive, you will need to purchase a parking permit from each campus.

Can I participate in Clemson ROTC programs during my Bridge year?
Yes. Bridge students are eligible to participate in the Clemson Air Force and Army ROTC programs. Course credit will be awarded by Tri-County. If you are interested in this program, please reach out to the Clemson ROTC offices directly about participating during your Bridge year.

Can I participate in Clemson bands and choral groups during my Bridge year?
Yes. Bridge students are eligible to participate in Clemson bands and choral groups. Please keep in mind that some groups require an audition. Course credit will be awarded by Tri-County.

Can I pledge a Clemson fraternity or sorority during my Bridge year?
No. Due to policies governing national social fraternities and sororities, Bridge students may not join one of these organizations until after they enroll at Clemson.

Am I eligible to obtain student tickets to Clemson Football games and Clemson Men’s Basketball games during my Bridge year?
Yes. While not included in the Bridge Program Fee, Bridge students can purchase tickets for Clemson Football games and Men's Basketball games per Clemson Athletic Ticket Office guidance.
Purchase options are available on a limited basis. Students and parents should review the Clemson Athletic Ticket webpage for specific details and upcoming deadlines.
