Colonel Ed De Iulio retired from the Air Force in 2004 after serving 28 years. He flew the B-52, FB-111, NKC-135, and various other fighter and training aircraft. He commanded at the Wing, Group, and Detachment levels. Colonel De Iulio also worked operational test and evaluation on the B-2 Stealth bomber at Edwards Air Force Base. His last assignment was commanding the Clemson University Air Force ROTC unit.
After retiring, Ed worked as a business development officer for McLane Advanced Technologies, a software development company, based in Temple, Texas.
Beginning in 2008, Ed was the assistant director and lecturer in the Powers Business School Academic Advising Center where he taught BUS 1010. During this time, Ed progressed from lecturer to senior lecturer, and ultimately to principal lecturer.
In 2023, he became the lead instructor for BUS 3010, Business Ethics.
