Leah Hughes has over 20 years experience in career coaching, internship programming, and employer relations. In her current role at Clemson University, she manages job and internship development, employer relations, and professional development programs for the College of Business. Leah also serves the Department of Management as an Instructor for Intro to HR (MGT 3070).
Prior to working in the College of Business, Leah worked at Clemson's Michelin Career Center as the Assistant Director of Career Events & Recruiting for 4 years. Leah's previous experience includes roles at Lander University as Career Services Director and instructor; and at the College of Charleston's School of Business & Economics as the Career Coordinator. Leah moved into a career in higher education after completing her Masters in Human Resource Development. She is a graduate of the Protocol School of Washington's Corporate Etiquette & International Protocol Consultant program. Leah is an active member of the Southern Association of Colleges & Employers, and Past President of the SC Association of Colleges & Employers.
