Native of Goose Creek SC, and lifelong Clemson fan his journey to these hills took time. Needing discipline and structure in youth, he joined the military and served 20 years in the Army after high school. He spent 15 of those 20 years in the military supporting special operations units through many deployments around the world to include six combat/hostile fire deployments.
