CAH Research Services

The CAH Office of Research Support is an approved Office of Sponsored Programs satellite office. We provide professional grant proposal development, award acceptance, and research administrative services. We strive to lessen the administrative burden and reduce errors that may potentially eliminate a proposal from consideration by a sponsor.  We can assist in any of the following stages:

Research Development

  • Providing guidance on first steps
  • Obtaining electronic registration with sponsors
  • Locating external and internal funding opportunities
  • Distributing information about Limited Submissions

Proposal Development

  • Providing developmental editing and proofreading
  • Consulting on proposal writing processes
  • Helping support the production of proposal elements (e.g., biosketches, current & pending research, letters of support)
  • Ensuring alignment with funding opportunity guidelines

Proposal Submission

  • Assisting faculty with a review of proposal requirements
  • Developing proposal budgets and budget justifications
  • Verifying forms and templates
  • Routing proposals for internal approvals
  • Submitting proposals to sponsors

Award Negotiation/Acceptance

  • Reviewing proposed award documentation
  • Ensuring terms and conditions are acceptable to the University
  • Negotiating terms with sponsor
  • Coordinating award acceptance process
