Educational BackgroundMSW Social Work BA Sociology | Courses TaughtSOC 2010 Introduction to Sociology
|
ProfileI have been teaching in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice at Clemson University since 2007, and I also serve as Undergraduate Coordinator and Upperclassman Advisor for the department. As a graduate of the sociology program at Clemson, it is a privilege to now have the opportunity to serve my alma mater. In addition to teaching, I am also a licensed social worker in the state of South Carolina, as well as a certified dementia specialist. Prior to coming to Clemson, I worked for several years in the field of hospice social work, which led to my current interest in aging and end-of-life issues. I currently teach both social services and introductory sociology courses, and as undergraduate coordinator I head up advising and registration efforts within the department. I live in Six Mile with my husband David and our three children, Elene, Annabelle, and Samuel. | |
