Spiro Institute

Located in the Brook T. Smith Launchpad, the Entrepreneurship Hub of Clemson University, the Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership supports programs that promote entrepreneurial activity and economic development of the region, state, and nation. The focus is on wealth creation through entrepreneurial activity.

Undergraduate Entrepreneurship

An Entrepreneurship Minor is available to undergraduate students in engineering and science disciplines across campus. This set of courses is intended to supplement a student's engineering degree with expertise related to accounting, finance, management, new product development, and commercialization of inventions. In addition to the Entrepreneurship Minor, ECE students can substitute ELE 3010 - Executive Leadership and Entrepreneurship I or ELE 4010 - Executive Leadership and Entrepreneurship II for one of the required Humanities Electives.

Graduate Technology Entrepreneurship

The Technology Entrepreneurship Certificate is available to engineering and science graduate students. The certificate is for those who see an entrepreneurial career as a long-range career goal, want to be involved in new products and business activities within a corporate setting or seek a better understanding of the commercializing of inventions.
