Choose a Laptop?

Clemson requires all entering students to own a laptop. For convenience, these can be purchased on campus through the Tiger Tech Shop at the Hendrix Student Center.

Our laptop recommendations have developed over the years based on the experiences of staff, faculty, and students.

Connect To Services?

Clemson Computing and Information Technology (CCIT) offers a wide range of services and support for hardware and software needs. For in-person support, they are located on the second floor of Cooper Library.

Find out what you need to get connected on campus, from wireless to email.

Determine Math Placement?

As you prepare for your first semester at Clemson, determining math placement is a crucial step in creating the best possible academic path for you. We encourage you to submit all math-related achievements: AP Calculus, IB Higher Level Math scores, previously earned college credit for math, SAT and ACT math scores, and the Clemson Math Placement Test.

Find out whether you need to take the Math Placement Test or which math sequence is best for you.

Transfer Courses?

Clemson uses the Transfer Course Equivalency List (TCEL) to assess courses taken from other institutions. Your courses will be evaluated as either a direct Clemson equivalent or as an elective credit.

Explore your options, whether you're checking which courses will transfer from another school or want to take a course elsewhere.

Get a TigerOne ID?

A TigerOne ID card allows you to access campus buildings, use the Fike Recreation Center, check out items from the library, and use a digital wallet for TigerStripe, Paw Points, and Meal Plans.

To begin your TigerOne ID request, please visit the TigerOne Online Office to get started.

Register for My First Semseter?

Each semester, you are required to set up an advising appointment and meet with an advisor before you can schedule your course registration. New students will register for their first-term classes during orientation. The first step is to start with signing up for orientation in early May.

Find out what you need before registering for classes, from advising appointments to curriculum worksheets.

Schedule Future Advising Appointments?

The General Engineering Advising Center advisors are here to meet with you throughout your time in General Engineering. You will be officially assigned a General Engineering academic advisor who will assist you in finding the correct major AND on track to reach your educational goals. Undergraduates must receive a registration PIN from their advisor to access iROAR registration.

Declare A Major?

To declare your major, you will need to submit a Change of Academic Program after completing the required core courses with a grade of C or better and satisfying the minimum GPA for your intended major.
