Hattie B. Wagener Award

The Hattie B. Wagener Endowed Classified Staff Award was established in memory of Hattie Boone Wagener (a long-time administrative support staff member at Clemson University) to recognize outstanding administrative staff within the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences. The winner of this award will be chosen by a committee made up of the Dean of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences, a faculty member within the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences, a staff member from another college on campus, and a member of the Clemson City Council. 

Nominee Eligibility

Persons eligible to participate in this award are permanent, classified administrative employees in the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences who have been employed by the College a minimum of one year. Previous award winners are not eligible for nomination. 

Other Information

The winner of the Hattie B. Endowed Classified Staff Award will be announced at the annual CECAS staff awards ceremony. This award comes with a $1,000 stipend, a plaque presented to the recipient, and their name will be added to the Hattie B Wagener plaque displayed in Riggs Hall.
