Profile/About Me
After earning my bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, I worked as a laboratory, research scientist for two decades, doing research in cell biology and human genetics at Emory University. In 2016, I completed my Ph.D. and began a post-doctoral fellowship working in newborn screening at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In 2021, I began teaching introductory biology and medical genetics at Kennesaw University. Ready to leave the hustle and bustle of Atlanta behind me, I moved to Clemson in July 2024 to become part of the Clemson family. Currently, I am the instructor for the molecular biology lab course (BCHM/GEN 3040).
