Research Group (Lab)
I research the air microbiome. To do this, I develop in situ instrumentation for atmospheric surveys of environmental nucleic acids by aircraft. We conduct ongoing flight campaigns to collect and genomically analyze bioaerosols from the atmosphere to characterize the aerobiome and learn more about the fate and transport of airborne environmental nucleic acids.
