Group Fitness
Clemson Group Fitness strives to offer the most safe, effective, and innovative programs to students and members of all abilities. Our classes are taught by certified instructors, all of which are current students. We offer over 70 weekly classes during the Fall and Spring semesters. We offer a wide variety of classes that will help you reach your fitness and wellness goals whether they focus on cardiovascular training, strength training, or flexibility.
Our Group Fitness schedule reflects planned group fitness offerings, however, we may modify or adjust these offerings as needed.

How to register for a Group Fitness class
Registration for each Group Fitness or F45 class will open 23 hours before the schedule start time.
- Visit our online member portal
- Click the Sign In button at the upper right-hand corner
- Sign in with your Clemson username and password (without the @clemson.edu)
- Click the "Fitness & Wellness" icon
- Select a location (Fike or Douthit) or F45 from the dropdown menu
- Click on the class you are looking for
- Under Program Instances, find the time you want to register for and and click "Register".
- Agree to our Group Fitness No-Show Policy
- Click "Checkout" twice
- Receive your confirmation right to your inbox!
If the class you are currently attempting to sign up for is full, please feel free to show up to the class as a stand-by participant. If any registered participants do not show up and there is space available, stand-by participants will be allowed to enter 5 minutes prior to class start time.

How to Cancel a Registration
- Navigate to our online member portal.
- Click the Sign In button at the upper right-hand corner.
- Sign in with your Clemson username and password.
- Click on the Cancel a Registration button.
- Find the class that you want to drop and click the three little dots.
- Click "Cancel Registration".

Group Fitness Policies

Group fitness classes (excluding F45) at Fike Recreation Center are FREE to all members of Clemson Campus Recreation - valid ID cards must be presented for entrance. Group fitness classes at Douthit Hills are FREE to students with an active membership.

Late entry to classes is not permitted.

Each class has a designated number of maximum participants based on space capacity and available equipment.

Notify the instructor of any physical considerations you have before class begins.

Wipe down all equipment before and after use.

The schedule is subject to change.

If the university closes due to inclement weather, all fitness classes will be canceled until the university re-opens.

Participate in all classes at your own risk.
No-Show No-Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a group fitness or F45 class that you have registered for, you must cancel your registration at least 30 minutes prior to the class start time to avoid being penalized. Each time a participant does not cancel their registration and is not checked in by the instructor, they will receive a “strike”. Three strikes will result in being suspended from signing up for classes for one week. The three strikes will reset after each one-week suspension.
