Marketing Student Advisory Board

Meet the SAB

The Marketing Student Advisory Board comprises sophomore, junior and senior marketing majors. New representatives are selected through an application process at the end of each academic year. Each representative has demonstrated their commitment to department leadership and to bettering the college as a whole. The board collaborates with the Department of Marketing faculty on various initiatives and works with the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business Student Advisory Board on interdepartmental issues.

Why I joined the MSAB: I joined MSAB because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of marketing students. I saw it as a way to facilitate and encourage positive change within the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business and advocate for student needs.
Fun Fact: I learned to ski when I was two years old!

Why I joined the MSAB: I joined MSAB to work with other passionate marketing students to help improve the marketing department at Clemson for the student body. I wanted to gain hands-on experience in marketing strategy and collaborate with peers and faculty to enhance the program by shaping the curriculum and creating opportunities for future students.
Fun Fact: I am a big Boston sports fan!

Why I joined the MSAB: I joined MSAB because I love the marketing program at Clemson, and I want every student to feel the same way. Therefore, I joined MSAB to be a liaison between the marketing department and the students so I can help all students have the same love for it as me. I hope to leave an impact on this program or even just some of the students!
Fun Fact: This past summer, I was on the Yankee Candle expert smeller panel!

Why I joined the MSAB: I joined the Marketing Student Advisory Board at Clemson University because I wanted to make a meaningful impact beyond the classroom. It was important to me to contribute to the growth and success of the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business and the Marketing Department. Being a part of this board allows me to collaborate with students, faculty and administrators to shape the future of the marketing program, create opportunities for fellow students and foster a stronger sense of community. Ultimately, I saw this as a chance to be part of something greater - helping elevate the marketing program and enhancing the Clemson Experience for current and future students.

Why I joined the MSAB: I joined MSAB to bridge the gap between talented marketing students and the business school during this significant growth phase. Clemson's marketing students are so bright and innovative, and I want to ensure their voices and ideas are heard. I hope MSAB can support these students in discovering their career paths through the alumni network, mentorship opportunities, a diverse curriculum and industry exposure.
Fun Fact: I come from a very musical family and started playing the drums when I was five!

Why I joined the MSAB: I joined Clemson's MSAB to give back to the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business and help implement new ideas into the school. I want to serve as a liaison between students and faculty by addressing student concerns and providing input on new organizational ideas. I like to talk to students to gain feedback on their college experiences, and I want to do what I can to enhance further the opportunities Clemson provides.

Being a part of MSAB allows me to collaborate with like-minded individuals who share my enthusiasm for marketing while also helping create a supportive and vibrant student environment. I believe that through teamwork and leadership, we can continue to elevate the Clemson marketing program and offer valuable experiences to help students thrive in their academic and professional journeys.

Why I joined the MSAB: As a first-year student just starting to get introduced to my marketing major, I wanted to get more involved in the field and work with a smaller cohort to bring positive changes. I joined the Marketing Student Advisory Board because I wanted to take a hands-on role in shaping the direction and reputation of our marketing program. I also sought out certain needs I wanted to bring to the marketing department, such as a marketing minor. I am hopeful that in the future, we can bring a marketing minor into the curriculum and push forward for a positive change for the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business and the marketing department.
Fun Fact: I learned to drive an ATV when I was four!
