Scholarships for CAFLS Students

There are many scholarships available for undergraduate students within the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences. The majority are administered centrally by the Office of Student Financial Aid. Visit the CAFLS Departmental Scholarships page to learn about scholarships administered by one of the College's five academic departments.

There are several scholarships administered by the College. These scholarships are competitive and awarded following a review of eligible students. Students are reviewed for these scholarships based on established eligibility criteria and student credentials at the time of review and are nonnegotiable.

Students can submit a Scholarship Interest Form to signal their interest in being specially considered for a scholarship. CAFLS staff and faculty can also submit this form in nomination of a student to be specially considered.

Scholarships are made possible by the generous support of our Alumni and Friends.

    • It is recommended that students complete the Scholarship Interest Form each year as financial circumstances and eligibility may change.

  • How do I get my scholarship?

Only scholarship recipients will receive email notifications. Awards will be applied directly to your student account through Student Financial Aid. Financial aid is typically paid to the bill 10 days before classes start if the financial aid award is accepted under the Financial Aid section in iROAR.

Students individually express interest for these college-administered scholarships using a single form. Nominations of students from faculty and staff are also accepted. All eligible students are reviewed and scholarships awarded once per year by the deadline.

Students must meet eligibility requirements to be considered for a scholarship. All eligible students are reviewed and recipients selected by the CAFLS Scholarships and Awards Committee unless otherwise noted. Recipients are notified following selection.

Departmental scholarships are awarded by a process determined by each academic department. Please contact your academic advisor or departmental Student Services Coordinator for more information.
