Selection into the program automatically sets the participants apart, placing them among a highly acclaimed group. Each class member has proven to have leadership potential. Each is expected to conduct himself/herself as a responsible leader. The values of the PLEAF program are respected statewide and each participant is expected to uphold those values. Along with the honor of being a member of PLEAF comes the responsibility to themselves, their classmates, and our industry communities to exemplify the utmost personal and professional standards. Directors of the PLEAF Advisory Board and their related organizations and the hundreds of supporters expect mature and responsible behavior from all PLEAF participants. This especially includes informal social activities outside of formal learning sessions.

  • Support

It is very important that spouses and significant others of PLEAF class members be knowledgeable of the program and supportive of participation of the participant from the very beginning. Class participants have made a major commitment and their significant relationships must pledge support. Class member communication is encouraged with their spouses/significant others/supporting mentors on all activities with participation allowed at graduation at your own expense.

Dress for seminars is commonly business casual (pants other than jeans, collared shirts – button down or golf/polo shirts, or sweaters, optional jackets and ties and the equivalent for ladies. There will be times where business dress (suits) is more appropriate.
