Snipes Fund
Dr. David S. Snipes Memorial Student Assistance Endowment
Dr. David Snipes organized the first Clemson Hydrogeology Symposium (affectionately called the Sniposium) in 1992 as a single-session conference with 50 participants. After his death in 2005, a fund was created in David’s memory to provide graduate fellowships in hydrogeology at Clemson.
Since that time, generous donors have given over $30,000, and the fund has appreciated about $10,000, generating about $1,500 per year for graduate fellowships. Please make a gift to this fund to increase the amount we can award to graduate students and honor David’s legacy.
