Overlooking Lake Hartwell, Clemson University Conference Center & Inn (also known as the James F. Martin Inn) is conveniently located on campus and close to the Clemson Experimental Forest and the South Carolina Botanical Gardens. Suites, adjoining rooms, and pet-friendly lodging are available.
There are a limited number of rooms blocked off at the Martin Inn for $139 for the nights of April 1, 2, and 3. To get the $139/night rate, tell them “Hydrogeology Symposium 2025.” The Martin Inn is connected to the Madren Center. One-half of the block will be released on Feb 3 to other parties. The rest of the unclaimed rooms will be released on March 3.

Parking
Clemson University Conference Center & Inn offers free parking on-site, close to the Conference Center. We do request that you park only in designated spaces (not on sidewalks). Parking on anything that could be construed as part of the golf course, a putting green, or the driving range is subject to being ticketed and towed (see exceptions below).
If the designated spaces fill up, roadside parking is allowed in specified areas marked in red in the image. You must be FULLY off the pavement by at least 1 foot along:
- Lake Drive, beyond (west of) the historic sign titled “The Battle of Seneca Town” [A]
- The north side of Old Stadium Road closest to the Madren Center, not the south side! [B]
