Clemson Honors Student Ambassadors
Looking for a Student Perspective on Clemson Honors?
Clemson Honors Student Ambassadors are Honors student volunteers who are official ambassadors for the Honors College and who are passionate about Honors at Clemson University.
Ambassadors meet with prospective students and their families to provide a student perspective on their various Honors experiences.
They are a diverse group of students, representing each of Clemson's academic colleges listed below, and they are involved in all aspects of campus life. They are developing communication, teamwork, and leadership skills as they interact with prospective students and their families.
You can read more about each ambassador within their major's college.

Name: Alli Jennings

Major: English

Introduction: Hi, I'm Alli! I'm a senior English major with minors in brand communications and legal studies, and I'm from Rock Hill, South Carolina. I love to read, write, and watch sports. I hope to one day work in either digital marketing or publishing.
Ask me about...: Clemson Undergraduate Student Government (CUSG), volunteering opportunities in Clemson, and the best study spots on campus
My advice for prospective students: Choose a college that feels like home!
My advice for current students: Try new things! You'll meet the best people and make the best memories that way.
Why I chose Clemson and the Honors College: I wanted a smaller-community feeling while still having access to the resources of a university as large as Clemson. I also wanted to be surrounded by people who are as ambitious as I am.
My favorite thing about the Honors College: The people!
My involvement in the Honors College: I am an Honors College Ambassador, and as a first-year student, I lived in the Honors Residential College and participated in the Dixon Fellows Program.
My involvement in Clemson University: I am involved in the Clemson Undergraduate Student Government, a volunteering organization called Two for the Team, and I am a UPIC intern for the Division of Marketing and Communications.
If I could travel anywhere: I would go to Italy, particularly Rome, Venice, and Florence because of all of the history and art there.
My favorite Clemson class: My favorite Clemson class is probably Women Writers, which focused on books about time travel that were written by women. The class challenged the way I viewed time by demonstrating how people experience time differently, and it made me more aware of how I personally perceive time.
What makes me happy to be alive: Watching Clemson Football win makes me happy to be alive, especially when I am in Death Valley!
Favorite place on campus: My favorite places on campus are the library and the reflection pond.
My future goals: I hope to move to a city (not sure which one yet) for work and then potentially go to graduate school.
What are your plans after graduation?: I plan to work in either publishing or digital marketing.
How has the Honors College made a difference in your life?: The Honors College led me to my best friends, which has completely shaped my college experience. I have also been in interesting and niche discussion-based classes that challenged my thinking about everyday things such as social media, which would not have happened if I was not in the Honors College.
