Introduction: Hey! My name is Angel Feliz. I’m a sophomore from Providence, Rhode Island, majoring in Computer Science. I love playing volleyball and spending time outdoors with friends. After college, I hope to become a Software Development Engineer somewhere on the West Coast.
Ask me about...: Clemson Undergraduate Student Government, Greek life, the College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences Student Advisory Board, and the Honors Student Advisory Board. These are just a few of my commitments, but I’m always happy to chat about anything Clemson!
Favorite place on campus: While the Snow Complex is my favorite place on campus, You can most likely find me at Cooper Library. Copper Is at the heart of campus so it is a super convenient place to get some work done between classes or meetings.
What did you do this summer?: This summer, I interned at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Software Development Engineer on the File Stream team. I worked on a project testing the effectiveness and speed of File Stream across various AWS tools. It was highly technical and detail oriented work, but I learned so much in just three months. During my internship, I was relocated to Seattle, where I had the opportunity to meet college students from all over the country and explore the city's beauty!
