Introduction: Hey, y'all! My name is Emalee, and I am from Abbeville, South Carolina! I am currently a Sophomore in Bioengineering with a Biomaterials Concentration. I love getting involved around campus and spending time with friends! I love all things music, movies, Jesus, and trying new coffee shops! I hope to continue my education after undergrad and work with cancer research!
Ask me about...: The best ways to get involved on campus!!!
My advice for prospective students: Don't overthink it! Things may feel overwhelming at times, but put yourself out there and take advantage of all that this university has to offer!
Why I chose Clemson and the Honors College: I have always known about Clemson University and its incredible engineering program! When I visited Clemson, I was drawn to the Clemson family and the spirit of the traditions; however, I did not know if such a large university would be the best fit for me. The Honors College settled all my fears and gave me a small home within my broader Clemson community.
My involvement in the Honors College: Student Ambassador
My involvement in Clemson University: Undergraduate Senate, Residence Hall Assocation, Alpha Omega Epsilon, MEDLIFE, PEER and WISE, Society of Women Engineers, Undergraduate Research
My favorite Clemson class: My favorite Clemson class was Calculus Four because I was very interested in the skills learned. Although the course was difficult, it was rewarding to see the knowledge start to sink in and make sense!
Three interesting facts about me: I have fifteen cats, my graduating class was 83 students, and my favorite movie is Home Alone!
My future goals: I hope to complete my education and find a fulfilling job in the biotech field. I also hope to have a family one day!

How has the Honors College made a difference in your life?: The honors college has given me my best friends! Living in the residential college made my first-year experience incredible!
