Introduction: Hey guys! I'm Keerthi Surisetty from Fort Mill, SC, just outside of Charlotte, NC. I'm currently majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Cybersecurity. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, exploring the outdoors, cooking, baking, and spending time with friends. I'm always excited to try new things and meet new people. After graduation, I'm aiming to build a career in AI, cybersecurity, or Cloud Computing!
Ask me about...: Everything Honors, best places to see Clemson sunsets, places to eat, literally anything!
My advice for prospective students: Get involved! Go to that meeting, join that club, go to that event. College is only four years so take advantage of the time you have to step out of your comfort zone and try new things!
My advice for current students: Keep a balanced lifestyle. Go out, have fun with your friends, stay on top of your work and studying, and keep an active and healthy lifestyle. These four years will be some of the most memorable, but don't let the fun distract you from achieving your long-term goals.
Why I chose Clemson and the Honors College: The campus and the people! Faculty and peers at the Honors College are always encouraging, offering many opportunities to help you network and helping you find your niche. I also love the school spirit and feeling of being homey on campus.
My favorite thing about the Honors College: The people and opportunities! You will meet some of the most passionate and hard-working students and faculty who genuinely want to see you achieve your goals!
My involvement in the Honors College: Honors Student Ambassadors, Dixon Fellows, SPARK Challenge
My involvement in Clemson University: Honors Student Ambassador, Clemson University Student Government: Council of Diversity Affairs, Clemson Girls Who Code, Scholars of Finance, Indian Cultural Association
Favorite place on campus: The rock near Reflection Pond, Cooper Library, and the dikes!
My future goals: I want to explore Cybersecurity, Machine Learning/AI, and Cloud Computing. I find these fields exciting and would like to work in one of these fields after graduation.
