Introduction: Hi! My name is Peyton Beck, and I am a Junior Language and International Health major with a minor in Cluster Life Sciences. Being from New Jersey, I was a little nervous going to an out-of-state school but Clemson has truly become my home away from home. Besides being involved in the Honors College, I am involved in student research, on the executive board of Zeta Tau Alpha, and a part of the Pre-PA and American Medical Women's Association clubs. After undergrad, I plan on attending Physician Assistant school!
My advice for prospective students: Take a step back and truly try to envision yourself on campus! Everything will work out the way it is supposed to :)
My advice for current students: It is never too late to apply to the Honors College! The Honors College presents so many amazing opportunities so be sure to keep an open mind!
Why I chose Clemson and the Honors College: I chose the Clemson Honors College because of the environment that fosters my academic motivation and passion. Additionally, I truly appreciate the close-knit community that develops between students and faculty within the Honors College.
My favorite thing about the Honors College: My favorite thing about the Honors College is the 24/7 access to the Honors College building! It makes for a great study space and place to hangout with friends.
My involvement in the Honors College: I am an Honors Student Ambassador within the Honors College!
My involvement in Clemson University: At Clemson, I am involved in student research, I am a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and serve on their executive board as Vice President of Academic Achievement, I am a member of the Paws4PA club, the American Medical Women's Association Club, and the Spanish Professional Society Club.
If I could travel anywhere: I would go to Italy! I've always wanted to take a cooking class and Italy would be the perfect place to do it!
Three things I cannot live without: Three things I cannot live without are my 1.) my family 2.) my friends and 3.) my passport because I LOVE to travel!
