Clemson Honors Student Ambassadors
Looking for a Student Perspective on Clemson Honors?
Clemson Honors Student Ambassadors are Honors student volunteers who are official ambassadors for the Honors College and who are passionate about Honors at Clemson University.
Ambassadors meet with prospective students and their families to provide a student perspective on their various Honors experiences.
They are a diverse group of students, representing each of Clemson's academic colleges listed below, and they are involved in all aspects of campus life. They are developing communication, teamwork, and leadership skills as they interact with prospective students and their families.

Introduction: My name is Alexa Sabogal, Class of 2028, and I am from Miami, Florida! I am a double major in political science and communication, also pursuing a minor in social sciences. I love to read, travel, and run on my free time and I hope to attend law school post graduation!
Ask me about...: Greek life, volunteer opportunities on campus, coming from out of state
My advice for prospective students: Make it a point to step out of your comfort zone. No matter how hard it may seem/be, I strongly believe that the results are always worth it!
My advice for current students: Ask for help and remain focused on your education!
Why I chose Clemson and the Honors College: I chose Clemson primarily because of the Honors College. I knew that I wanted to leave home, and when touring Clemson and visiting the Honors College, I knew that this would be a perfect place for me to grow academically, professionally, and personally. I noticed how unique the Honors College here was and recognized the potential for constant improvement that I would have when supported by the many opportunities and invested staff.
My favorite thing about the Honors College: My favorite thing about the Honors College is the countless opportunities that we are offered throughout our years here. From financial grants for our summer learning to the interesting seminars offered for course credit, the Honors College offers the motivation and tools needed to succeed.
My involvement in Clemson University: I am a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and most recently am working on the recruitment team, a volunteer with Clemson LIFE, and a member of various service clubs around campus.
Three things I cannot live without: My friends, the ocean, and naps
My favorite Clemson class: My favorite Clemson class is my comparative politics course because it challenged me to think critically about the ways other governments function and how that relates/affects our own government in the United States. It also opened my eyes to many different points of views and helped me recognize my love for international politics.
Favorite place on campus: I can often be found walking or running on the Dikes by the lake!
My future goals: I intend on going to law school when I graduate college. From there, I hope to move to Washington D.C. and work up to the Supreme Court Bar. I would also love to work as an ambassador for the United States!
