Seating Capacity:
- The auditorium has 275 audience-style seats with flip down desktops and 10 wheelchair accessible locations in the back.

Reserving the Auditorium (STI 101)
Who can reserve the auditorium?
Reservations are only available for University departments and registered student organizations using our online reservation forms.
- Reservations for the Auditorium at Strom Thurmond Institute (STI 101) will only be accepted when academic classes are not taking place.
- There will be a 2-hour minimum reservation rental.
- All groups will be charged for all equipment and technology that is not included in the space.
Please note that for all reservation requests, a signed reservation request form, related set-up diagrams (if applicable) and any required approvals must be completed at least 10-business days before the event date to avoid cancellation.
What is included in the space rental?
The following equipment and technology is included with the space rental:
- Projector & Screen
- (2) Handheld Mics & (2) Lapel Mics (4 Microphone Maximum)
- (1) 8ft. Rectangular Table
- (6) Mobile Chairs
- (2) Mobile Whilteboards
- (1) Podium

Special and/or Major Events
Campus Reservations and Events reserves the right to evaluate reservations and designate them as a “Special Event” or “Major Event”.
- This designation may apply to reservations that are complex, have contracted speakers/performers, have bands with multiple instrument/vocal needs, require extensive or specialized staffing, require specialty equipment, and/or for safety and security reasons.
