Modernizing How Clemson Works
Clemson University has partnered with Workday and Deloitte Consulting LLP to develop Workday@Clemson, a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that supports enterprise-wide modernization of core HR and Finance processes and tasks. Now in development, Clemson’s Workday platform will integrate and streamline key University functions such as payroll, human resources, supply chain, finance and budgeting with an enterprise-wide solution that supports Clemson’s campuses, statewide locations and related organizations.
Workday@Clemson will be mobile friendly and will include impressive self-service functionality for faculty, staff and student workers to enter time, submit requisitions, manage personal information and run reports, among other business processes. This focus on modernizing daily, recurring tasks will give Clemson employees more time to focus on the University's bold strategic initiative – Clemson Elevate – and support the critical missions of teaching, research and service.
To ensure that all Clemson voices are represented in the development process, user groups consisting of faculty, staff and student workers from every college and unit will assist in Workday@Clemson design, testing and training development. This collaborative approach, coupled with a robust training program, will deliver a quality experience as the University prepares to transition to Workday@Clemson in the next few years.
