Clemson's new ERP: Workday@Clemson
An Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is a software system that integrates essential business processes of an organization, enabling automation and business process workflow. Clemson University is in the process of acquiring and implementing Workday@Clemson, a new ERP that will modernize and streamline core finance and human resources functions including talent acquisition, time and leave management, performance management, payroll, grants management and procurement. This will give affected Clemson faculty, staff and student workers more time to focus on their important contributions to the University missions of teaching, research and service.
Workday@Clemson announcements and information will be provided via email and ongoing OUR Clemson coverage. Clemson will also continually update this website with information on training, opportunities for engagement, upcoming events and how to contact the Workday@Clemson program leadership team.
Workday@Clemson empowers Clemson employees to achieve personal and University goals.
The purpose of Workday@Clemson is to streamline existing work and to make it easier for you to complete certain recurring HR and Finance tasks. This frees you and your colleagues to spend more of your time focused on supporting the Clemson missions of teaching, research and service.
It will be cloud-based
Clemson’s current HR and Finance systems are housed on physical servers, and the University is responsible for the maintenance and upgrades of this hardware. By moving to the cloud-based Workday@Clemson solution, systems provider Deloitte Consulting will be responsible for maintaining the hardware and delivering new functionality on a regular basis. While the system provider identifies the enhancements, we expect that the communities of customers using the system will have a prominent, collective voice in the process.
It will streamline the execution of daily business processes
From self-service, automated leave requests to streamlined hiring processes, Workday@Clemson is expected to make daily tasks more streamlined, resulting in fewer frustrations and more time to spend on the work of supporting the Clemson Family.

Our Workday@Clemson Implementation Process
