Functional Workstreams
Workday@Clemson functional workstreams consist of specialized teams within IT, HR and Finance at Clemson, playing pivotal roles in the design, development, testing and deployment of the new ERP. These teams work behind the scenes to develop business process designs, identify risks and make decisions which will ensure a successful implementation defined by user satisfaction and Workday@Clemson user adoption.
IT Workstream
- Bridge any gaps between the functionality of Workday@Clemson and the unique HR- and Finance-related IT usage of Clemson faculty, staff and student workers.
- Develop innovative IT solutions that deliver an outstanding user experience for impacted Clemson employees, as well as external vendors who will use Workday@Clemson.
- In addition to many Clemson IT staff, the IT Workstream includes 20 individuals from Deloitte and Attain Partners.
HR Workstream
- Partner with Deloitte to design and test future state HR business processes.
- Lead operational planning, which includes Workday@Clemson as a priority for the next 18 to 24 months.
- Support workstream leads with timely execution of plans to help minimize the impact of Workday@Clemson-related duties on existing operations.
- In addition to many Clemson HR staff, the HR Workstream includes 11 individuals from Deloitte and Attain Partners.
Finance Workstream
- Partner with Deloitte to design and test future state Finance business processes
- Lead the redesign of Clemson’s Chart of Accounts, known as the “Foundational Data Model” in the new Workday@Clemson system.
- Ensure that Revenue-based Budgeting needs are included in Workday@Clemson design considerations.
- In addition to many Clemson Finance staff, the Finance Workstream includes 10 individuals from Deloitte and Attain Partners.
