rDNA Training
CITI Training is required for labs using recombinant DNA or synthetic nucleic acid molecules.
Biohazardous Waste Training
Visit the Occupational and Environmental Safety website (OES) to take all the perquisite training needed to submit an IBC.
Chemical Hygiene Training
Visit OES to take the perquisite training required for labs using chemicals.
Hazardous Waste Management Training
Visit Occupational and Environmental Safety (OES) website to take the perquisite training required for labs disposing of hazards/hazardous chemicals.
Medical Surveillance Program Enrollment
Medical Surveillance Program (MSP) enrollment is required for labs working with any human bodily fluids, human cell lines, human tissues, or other biological/infectious hazards as deemed necessary.
Bloodborne Pathogens Training
Visit OES to take the prerequisite training required for labs working with any human bodily fluids, human cell lines, or human tissues. “Live” training with the Biosafety Officer is required by OSHA for the first time completing the training.
