About This Site
Tigers Together is a suicide prevention program that works to provide information and resources, reduce stigma, and promote a community of caring. Tigers Together was funded through the Garrett Lee Smith Memorial Campus Suicide Prevention grant, which was administered by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
Tigers Together involves interested faculty, staff, and students in suicide prevention through our Advisory Board, Coalition, and Creative Inquiry Team. We partner with Healthy Campus, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Residential Life, New Student and Family Programs, the Dean of Students Office, the Psychology Department, the Institute On Family and Neighborhood Life, and many others, including numerous vibrant student organizations.
